Trying to file a legitimate claim with Assurion. Hoops and barrels, all kinds of obtuse information required along the way, and a real labyrinth to negotiate through the maze to get my broken Apple Iphone replaced.
I cant say enough about how frustrating the process is to complete the claim, and I really tried to be patient. Since this was an Apple phone, part of the requirement was that I had to remove the "find my phone" from the phone when the phone was dead, so I couldn't do from my phone. 3 hours, 3 phone calls. with Assurion and Verizon Wireless to get this completed.
Of course the phone dies on the weekend and is required for work Monday.
I have had to do this before in the last few years, and I know the process wasn't this multistepped or tortuous. Oh, and, of course, when I first filed my claim it was cheerfully refused!
