We purchased an Asurion insurance policy on our granddaughter's iPhone 4s. Sure enough, it stopped working. When we tried to file a claim, Asurion let us know there was a $200 deductible on the iPhone. (For one that I can buy for $50 on ebay?).
The contract states that malfunctioning phones will be replaced at no charge.
Apparently they don't read their own contracts.
Save your monthly payments to Asurion and put them in the bank. Use it to pay one of the more reputable repair shops around town when your phone breaks. You'll be much happier in the long run.
