Asurion is slow, expensive, and good luck taking to a human
Had a problem with my phone, so contacted Asurion for a replacement. After uploading a claim form and a picture ID, I waited for my "immediate email" from them that never came.
OK, no big deal. Then got back on their website and did it again. This time it did work. Yay!
Alas, the story is no over. Received replacement phone - a refurbished model (that's OK too) and tried to activate it. First tried to call and have their customer service people handle it - but was just placed on hold. Gave up after 48 minutes.
Then went on-line and tried to activate the phone myself.
Entered all the numbers and now face a two business day (TWO DAYS!) review process. Fume.
Reason of review: Poor customer service.
