Absolute garbage. Cracked my screen and wanted it replaced.

Telus tells me they don't provide insurance themselves, rather, it is handled by Asurion. I call Asurikn and they are more than happy to send out a new phone for $250. My phone works fine, so I'm not terribly interested in that option. I ask about a sinole screen replacement and I'm told screen repairs are handled by Ubreakifix.

Call them and am told I have to wait for an s9+ screen to come in. Fine. Call back this morning and they have one in stock, but i have to call Asurion to book the appointment. I call Asurion and am told that, even tho Ubreakifix is samsung certified, the parts they use cannot be certified, nor can asurion send out certified parts making screen repair impossible.

Conveniently for asurion, however, they can once again replace my phone for $250.

I ask to speak to a manager and she gives the typical, pandering responses (I'm sorry you feel that way, I understand, blah, blah), but she can't give any answers as to why they are incapable or unwilling to accomodate screen repair through and admittedly certified repair centre.

I've canceled my device care and will not be giving Asurion any more of my money. I'll pay extra to have it fixed on principle.
