When one accessory of my Braun Food Processor broke, I contacted Asurion. One of the representative told me to send to them the damaged part. Ten days later Asurion called requesting the whole food processor. I sent it. It has been almost a month and the service department has not fixed the part, nor has received a new one, refuses to buy me a new food processor or reimburse me, and declines to contact me. It's almost Thanksgiving and I don't have the food processor to cut all my fruits and vegetables. I kept calling Asurion and every time I am told that they are testing it, working on it, but sending it. I told the representative to reimburse me if nothing is been done. She retorted that it is not part of the plan. I read to her the protection plan as follows "
covers replacement costs or parts and labor
costs to repair your product in the event the product experiences
a breakdown which is not covered under any insurance policy,
other warranty or service contract. If we determine that we cannot
service your product as specified in this Plan, we may replace it
with a replacement product or at our discretion, we may issue
you a gift card or check for the original purchase price of that
product, excluding taxes, as indicated on your sales receipt or
order confirmation email."
