I called asking about Screen replacement that is advertised through Verizon...It is advertised as being "Coast to Coast" available to receive screen replacement.

I am told it is not available in my area (NW Indiana)

So I gave Asurion zip codes from Chicago, Denver, Indianapolis...

The service was not available in a 60 mile radius from those cities.

How can this be considered "Coast to Coast" at all.

False advertising and lies....because it offers a reduced price for screen replacement. From $49 to $29...

But all I am offered is total phone replacement for a $199 deductible.

It is advertised online and is totally false. I ask where in the country can I get my screen fixed....and I am met with " please give me 3 zip codes and I can check if the service is available there.

The answer is always NO....

Fictitious false advertising at its best.

I will never again use Asurion....

I've just had the same thing happen. Wasn't going to buy phone insurance this time around because it's a racket with such a high deductible.

Then Verizon told me cracked screens are replaced at your convenience, they come to you and it's only a $30.00 charge.

Sold! Three months later I crack my screen and get this same story - "these parts are not available" "I'm sorry you were told this by Verizon" "in the small print it does say..." This is false advertising and I will NEVER buy insurance from Asurion again.
