Screen cracked the first time around. They only charged $30 and sent a guy right to the house!
Sounds good, right? Well, the "ear speaker" didn't work after he "repaired" the cracked screen so my daughter could only hear sounds using the large "speaker" and the "speaker phone" function.
Fast forward a few months, she drops the phone again. Still works fine (except the ear speaker)! We ask to have the screen repaired again and they provide evasive answers about not being able to repair the screen because parts aren't available and/or they're unable to fix it (the didn't even see the phone which functioned fine.
Yeah, like a replacement screen on a black iPhone 7 is hard to find. BS.
Completely unacceptable customer service.
Telling me that repair wasn't available on an extremely common phone that, obviously has parts available, is ridiculous. If you had plain language in your contract indicating that you only allow one repair before replacing the device, I could accept that but the vague, evasive responses by your customer service staff is troubling.
