I ordered a replacement phone for a stolen device. When it came we attempted to insert the SIM card.
The SIM card must have slipped from the tray (it didn't seem to fit well in the first place) and got stuck in the phone. We took it to Verizon, who tried to get the SIM card out unsuccessfully. The card must have got loose, however, as it came out later. We went back to Verizon to have them insert the SIM card - but the phone wouldn't read it.
They tried two new SIM cards but the phone wouldn't read those either. I kept Asurion apprised of each step -- and they are insisting we must file yet another claim and pay another deductible just to get one working phone.
Would have been cheaper just to buy a new phone. Very unhappy with the callous disregard of management at the company; but a shout out to some of the front line people who tried to help.
I just want one working phone.
