I assume Verizon gets a kickback for every policy sold. Otherwise their employees would never recommend such a disgraceful policy.

I have contacted hundreds of friends and asked them to read the small print on their Asurion "insurance" policy. I assume they are not regulated or they'd be closed down by now.

Disgraceful, rude, slow. Waited days for a USED phone. Couldn't walk in Verizon and get it. Had to sit at home waiting for UPS all day.

Their website is pathetic.

Keeps insisting you do things to your disintegrated phone and provide information that is only available on the old phone. If it would do any good, I'd buy a full page ad in the NY Times to warn others not to buy this disgraceful policy.
