Avoid admitting to finding a lost phone. | Asurion review

Lost phone and several weeks later I found it in a cabinet I had been working on in my cabin. They did provide me with a replacement for 140+ dollars. I found the phone and took it to Verizon Corporate store and the said they would give me $70 for the phone until I said it was replaced by insurance. I then spent several hours on the phone with Asurion to just get a return label and they said that I get no credit for finding and returning the lost phone, I said what incentive is there for someone to find and return a lost phone if there is no credit provided?Just throw the phone away and don"t feel guilty ' I'm cancelling my insurance today.

I got my replacement phone 2 weeks ago. I didn't break it, there's no water damage or anything like that. It just stopped working. The way Asurion works is they re-manufacture the devices that you send in broken and those are the ones they send you for half-price. This makes the new half-price phones faulty. Mine only lasted 2 weeks.

Then called me today when my Appointment is for tomorrow and told me that I would have to reschedule again because again he was backed up in appointments.
