The charging port on my phone broke so I called Asurion to file a claim. The deductible was $100.
I received the replacement phone from Asurion in mid-December. In February, the keys started falling off the phone. When I called them, they said because the damage hadn't taken place within 7 days of receiving the replacement phone there was nothing they could do unless I wanted to file another claim and pay $100 again.
Total ripoff! You pay $8 a month for this insurance plus pay $100 deductible for them to send you a piece of *** phone.
Monetary Loss: $100.
