Asurion insurance charges $11 a month with a $200 deductible for loss or damaged phones. I filed a claim for my Iphone 6 Plus 64GB on July 23, 2016.
I had to disable a feature so I called back on July 25, 2016 to complete the claim. I was advised that they have no Iphones in stock and will not be able to provide a date for back-order.
The representative proceeds to tell me to go buy the phone at retail price (over $500) and they may reimburse in 10 days. This is unacceptable for a service paid for by the consumer.
